Grand Celebration of Kaushiki Amavasya at Salt Lake EC 71 Kalibari — Temple Premises Filled with Devotees
On the auspicious occasion of Kaushiki Amavasya, the renowned EC 71 Kalibari of Salt Lake witnessed a magnificent celebration of Goddess Kali’s worship. From early morning, devotees began gathering at the temple premises, and as the day progressed, a sea of people filled the surroundings. The air resonated with the sounds of conch shells, dhak beats, incense smoke, and devotional chants, creating an atmosphere of deep spirituality and devotion.
Special rituals, arati, and offerings continued throughout the day, followed by the distribution of prasadam to thousands of devotees. Among the worshippers were several refugee families, who prayed to the Goddess for peace, prosperity, and well-being of their loved ones.
The temple committee ensured proper crowd management, security, and smooth arrangements with the help of volunteers. Despite the heavy rush, the devotees expressed joy and fulfillment in receiving the divine blessings of Maa Kali.
